The four analog input CVs w, x, y, and z all take -8 to +8 volts in. All of the CV inputs are scaled such that they cover the entire parameter range in each direction.

The sample & hold CV source produces a unique random value for every slot in the parameter system upon each step trigger. These values are always positive. This means that the randomness is being applied only in one direction or the other from the parameter assigned value, rather than symmetrically around it.

You can also enable a channel setting that generates new random values each time a repeat fires within a step.

Each CV source has its own base channel value, and possible value for each step, for every parameter.
